OK Here we go

I hope that this will work for everyone. This is I guess a trial and if it does not we can try something else. I have also set up an generic email for us too. I will send that to everyone.

Does the generic email go to the whole family?

The blog will work fine if everyone will use is, and sign up to see it when there is a comment made.

Josh, could you post the beginning of a string, or whatever they call it (forgive me, I'm from the dark ages. "String" was a really NEW invention, then)telling about the CCOKBOOK idea for the big Goossen/Franz reunion, since you might be the only one with the ability to start a topic? Basically, then I could figure out from responses: 1) if the idea will fly at a cost of about $15 to $18 apiece and 2)if people are mostly in favor of a combined Goossen/Franz Cookbook or two different volumes. I anticipate it will be quite a nice sized cookbook, or maybe even two. Information and recipes can be emailed to me via word doc files at bovacura@networksplus.net or via snail mail to Othelia Vacura, 601 S. Broadway, Oberlin, KS 67749 We want to make it characteristically our family's story by having some food connected memories in it, too. Contributers, please identify yourself by Goossen Brother number, Child Number and Grandchild Number and Great Grandchild Number (or however far is necessary) in the Geneology Book, because our family has gotten so large that I'm afraid I may not know the exact connection in our family and make some horrid mistake.

Thanks! Othelia

I love the idea of a cookbook and Sandy said she did too. I think you (Othie) should do which ever is the easiest as far as 2 seperate or combined. For me, it would be easier to look in only one rather than 2, and of course we would want both! Andrew will put in his peppernut receipe and tell what he remembers about them.
